Cayman Brac offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world. Warm water and 100+ foot visibility are present year-round. The Cayman Islands are famous for wall diving - steep drop-offs where the reef plummets from around 80 feet to a few thousand. These border zones between the shallow reef and open water are not only visually dramatic but provide divers with the opportunity to see both typical reef life and larger open-water dwellers.

Not to be missed, however, are the multiple shallow sites around "the Brac", many easily accessible from shore. Pristine reefs and abundant marine life are the rule. Snorkelers will enjoy the large coral heads which come close enough to the surface to allow views often only available to divers.

The wreck of the MV Keith Tibbetts, a Russian destroyer, is well known throughout the dive world and can be seen by both divers and snorkelers. The Brac is home to Brac Reef with its great full service dive shop, Reef Divers, which provides tank fills and boat dives, as well as resort and certification courses.
